Of course, we cannot plan everything, and certain accidents can occur, but as long as we do everything in our power to prepare well, the risk decreases to a minimum. Biggest issues that can occur with walking are feet problems, cramps and blisters. In order to prepare well, we suggest you check your feet – cut your nails, use powder for sweat, bathe them in cold water every day as to harden the sole and see a specialist cosmetic if you have any problems that need attending. For cramps and blisters, warm up before every work out, wear appropriate footwear, start practicing on shorter distances so your feet, legs and shoes accommodate to the pressure. If necessary tape any spots that needs attention and learn how to stretch your legs in case of cramps.
